Dragon Boat Races Lake Gregory Regional Park
Dragon Boat racing is an ancient Chinese sport alive with tradition.
Teams of paddlers race against each other in friendly competition.
At the sound of the air horn these 40 foot canoes, adorned as dragons,
are off to a fast pace across beautiful Lake Gregory.

Holiday boat parade & Tree Lighting, great family Christmas day & evening.
The event kicks off at 1:30 pm with two hours to decorate boats. Spectator viewing & voting begins at 3:30 p.m. & participants show off their floats in the parade at 4:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to first, second & third place as well as a “People’s Choice” winner, voted on by the community. Winners will be announced shortly after the start of the parade & the event will wrap-up by 5 p.m. so parade participants & spectators can also take part in the community tree lighting ceremony.
